Adapter - part number A-106 (Short Body 15mm)
Male Thread : 14mm-1.5 Female Thread(Fitting Valve) : 14mm-1.5(EZ-106)
Some oil pans are designed with a recessed drain hole which may prevent the valve from being installed properly. If the valve can not be tightened all the way without hitting the oil pan wall, do not install the Drain Valve to your vehicle. Adapters are available for some models.

I needed clearance for my recessed oil pan drain and it works as advertised. Glad I ordered it.

I ordered this adapter to give clearance for the slightly recessed oil pan drain hole and it works perfectly.

This part fit perfectly into the recess of the oil pan and provided enough extension to accommodate the actual drain valve. I used a dial torque wrench and tightened it down to 21 ft/lbs., the range indicated for this specific 14mm x 1.5 adaptor. So far the extension and valve have been in place for 2 weeks in which time I have driven about 200 miles. So far it’s perfect; no leaks or any other problems. Since I only drive about 500 miles per month, it will be at least 8 months before I open the valve to drain the oil. I will review the actual valve at that time.

Extension threaded easily onto ezdrain valve, no leaks so far.

The drain plug is recessed & requires this adapter to accomodate the drain valve for easier access to the lever.

I have installed oil drain valves on my motorcycle, 3 cars & 1 truck & continue to install them as I replace cars. Once installed, the next time you drain your oil or let your installer do it, you'll be glad you did.
