Adapter - part number A-22(Short Body 22mm)
Male Thread : 22mm-1.5 Female Thread(Fitting Valve) : 22mm-1.5(EZ-7B) 22mm long
Some oil pans are designed with a recessed drain hole which may prevent the valve from being installed properly. If the valve can not be tightened all the way without hitting the oil pan wall, do not install the Drain Valve to your vehicle. Adapters are available for some models.
*Not recommended for low clearance vehicle.

My Yanmar diesel engine's oil pan is resessed so I could not screw the 22 mm EZ oil drain valve, I called the company and ordered the adapter after talking with the very helpful customer service person. The adapter came quickly (UPS) and it solved the problem.
