Use with Hose Ends
Hose Ends can be attached to the valves to allow a hose connection
and draining oil away from engines with limited space. Hose Ends may be removed after use.

These drain valves are very well engineered. The nickel plating is a great improvement over the standard Fumoto type brass drain valves, as it adds an extra layer of corrosion protection. I use them for everything that requires periodic draining for maintenance, oils, coolants, etc. Sliced bread's got nothing on these puppies! The add-on hose ends, i.e. straight and angled adds versatility and convenience for about any given application too where clearance might be an issue. Lastly, I always add a quality fiber or other good quality gasket such as nylon or Delrin to insure against any leaks that might occur between the valve base and it's mounting point.

I installed this product on my 86 mustang GT with a 5.0 engine and the plugs leak. Do you recommend any other sealing method besides the small o rings these come with?
From OilDrainValve.net :
The equipped O-ring may not make proper seal if the oil drain port is slightly curved (or damaged - not completely flat).
Putting a fiber gasket between the oil pan and the valve will solve the issue . We will send a gasket for free upon your request.

I have installed this on my boat oil pan which is difficult to get to with a wrench or socket. This oil drain valve makes draining oil a breeze! Flip the lever and done. When completed flip the levet back and job complete. Makes changing oil now so much easier!

I wish I'd known about these great little valves years ago !! They're well made, and more importantly, they work great.

Slowly changing over all my vehicles to oil drain valves

Eliminates the mess of oil changes. All of our vehicles are getting the valves and all of my gear head friends are hearing about them.

This valve did not work for my 1997 tj jeep. The o ring was not enough to keep the valve from leaking. I had to go back to the original style drain plug.
From OilDrainValve.net;
I am sorry to hear that you have a leaking problem. Some oil pans do not have completely flat oil drain port and an EZ oil drain valve's o-ring and oil pan drain port do not make proper seal. A fiber gasket between a oil pan and a valve solve the problem most cases. We will provide a fiber gasket for free. Please contact us to request one.

These valves are awesome. Changing oil on an inboard boat engine is a pain and is very messy. Got one of these along with a hose adapter. I attached the plug I use for the hose to the boat's drain plug and now I can take the plug out and pull the hose out the drain hole. This let's me drain the oil right into a drain pan or container. No mess!! Fantastic. Every inboard boat should come with one.

Purchased this valve for my 2013 Fleetwood motor home with a 6.8 ford V10. This was a must because the drain plug is directly over the axel I-beam and what a mess. It worked so well that I bought 1 for my 2006 Jeep with a 4.0 I-6. next I will be purchasing for a fleet of Freightliner trucks and two buses.

I have had several boat from row boats to 62 ft house it's always be a pain to change oil in them nere like sucking it out of the dip stick as never can get the mud off the bottom with the valve I attach a hose to the hose fitting and I can run it out the water drain in the back of the boat or connect the pump to it and pump it out, when finished replace the cap on the end of the hose and NO oil in the bilge of the boat, this is a great product and the cost is nothing compared to the time and clean up saving hope this helps others.

I have EZ Oil Drain Valves on my 2010 truck and my wife's CRV. Prior to trading in her '09 CRV for a '14, I removed the valve and installed it on her new car. The valve functions EXACTLY as they said it would. I don't have a lift and must use jack stands for oil changes and the valve has saved a lot of hours of frustration, aggravation and clean up to say nothing of no more hot oil down my hands and arm. I am so confident and pleased with the EZ valve, I installed one on my recently restored 1967 427 Corvette. The valve deserves more than 5 stars!

I have a Ford 302 without a dipstick in either the block or oil pan, nor is there a sensor for oil level. So, using this valve, I was able to put an external sight glass beside the engine to show the oil height inside the engine. Great Solution, especially since most of the time the valve is closed, just open when I check the oil level.
