Easy to install ezdrain valve. Had to use extension, no problem. I tried several times to thread it on to get the open/shut handle to be on the bottom so it would be easier to get to, but could not, so left it on top and I guess I can deal with it that way. Other than that, this is first time I installed it, so will have to wait until next oil change. Will be checking for any drips from valve, so far its good to go.

Don’t be alarmed. I got it looks good quality product but i will be selling my F150 because it is did. So did not get a chance to install it.
I have placed an order for the Lexus (2004/LS430) one as this is the car that I will be using now.
Will write a full review once I receive that & install.

Was happy to learn that these fit a 1/4" NPT adapter (A-610) allowing me to put drain valves on most of my yard equipment, eliminating the mess that usually comes with fiddling with the OEM pipe caps or drain plugs. One star off for (1) not being a direct 1/4"NPT fit and (2) price compared to what a compact ball valve costs in any plumbing department.

Should have come from the KIA/HYUNDAI factory as a standard item!

Our Lexus RX350 has an aluminum oil pan and the threads in the pan for the oil plug stripped (poor design). The Lexus fix is to replace the oil pan. Lexus charges $500.00 to replace the oil pan or will sell you an oil pan for $175.00. I contacted the Oildrainvalve folks by email and asked for help. They informed me I could oversize the hole with a 1/2" drill and tap the threads with a 14mm tap with a 1.5mm thread pitch and, install an EZ-106. It wasn't an easy job but, now I have an easy/convenient/clean//slick way to change my oil with no worries about another stripped oil pan. I'm am pleased and grateful to Oildrainvalve.

Easy to install, and extremely easy to use. Makes changing oil in my motor home a clean job. No mess to clean up.

Great product! Should DEFINITELY come as a FACTORY installed part on ALL vehicles! Makes oil changes even EASIER!

Very nice quality product. Only one recommendation is to use ¾”crowfoot open end with torque wrench for installation. It is very difficult, almost impossible on some cars (Honda CRV) to secure drain valve to the recommended torque with conventional wrenches. Otherwise I would recommend this product to anyone.

I just installed an Oil Drain Value in my 2012 Kia Sorento (2.4L). It was a snap to install and will allow me to change the oil w/o jacking up the front end. Yea!
Note: I purchased an L-Shape adapter for it but this was not needed because the angle of the oil drain hole is already angled at about 45 degrees. So don't purchase an L-Shape adapter until you know whether you need it.

I love this product. I do not have to use a wrench or socket to drain my oil. It arrived fast and in good packaging. I ordered one a year ago for one of my cars and worked perfectly so I ordered this one for my other car. I no longer have to worry about stripping the bolt or pan or buy washers.

I bought my first valve in 1986 for my Honda Civic. I sold that Honda in 2014 and the valve was dirty but worked like new. The new ones are just as well built and have some new improved features which make it better than ever.
Installed on my Cummins, works great.

I can't hardly rate them if I haven't installed them yet but I did rate ODV 5 stars for their patience and coolness for quickly exchanging them after I ordered the wrong ones...they didn't even ask me to return the wrong ones first!! That is "coolness" exemplified.

I have 3 cars and I have installed the e-z drain on all three. It greatly simplifies changing the oil in that I don't have to worry about what size wrench do I need; I don't get oil on my hands; I don't have to concern myself about possibly stripping the oil pan threads. The only very minor negative is that it takes longer for the oil to drain. I have recommended this valve to all my car friends.
Throw in the warranty and you can't lose.

Very familiar with this type of product. I worked for a company for 10 years that sold the competitions version; I have sold thousands of this type of product and thought I would give yours a try. It appears to be well made and has a nice finish, the spring latch is a bit easier to rotate than I am used to, hopefully the spring does not weaken only time will tell. I really liked the two day turn around from when I ordered the part to when I received it. Was disappointed that it was made in China but the competition is made in Japan so that is a wash. If the quality is as good as what I used to sell anyone buying these will be happy. Just a note to the skeptics out there, I know of only two that ever failed, one the owner took apart and destroyed it, the other was on an all terrain motor home and along with breaking the valve off he crushed his oil pan up into his crank and did a lot of other damage while “camping” in the Yukon. I haven't had the valve long enough to give it 5 stars, but all of my vehicles with side mounted drain plugs have them (the other brand)

I own a Honda S2000 CR and installed this with the A-106 adapter. The adapter was necessary because the S2000 uses an oil pan with a recessed drain plug. The car sits very low to the ground and removing a conventional oil plug requires putting the front of the car on stand jacks, and then lowering the car to completely drain the oil.
With the Oil Drain Valve in place I can slide an oil pan right under and drain the car without jacking it up. This is a huge savings in time and effort, and something I never want to have to do without.

Overall it looks well made. One thing I don't like is the fact it is made in CHINA! I find it hard to believe that with all the machine shops looking for product to produce that these could not be made in the US. I find it hard to believe that we cannot have these made in the US!!!!! China, REALLY!
It should come with a metal plug to use as a secondary safety and to protect the threads from dirt. .50 cent plug would be cheap insurance.
Not sure if I will install this in my $15K Powerstroke engine. Will probably return it.
